We are pleased that you are interested in studying at our institute or have already decided to do so.
At the Institute for Protestant Theology and Religious Education, "Protestant Theology" and "Diversity Management, Religion and Education" are taught at two chairs, Chair I for Systematic Theology and Chair II for Religious Education. The programs lead to either a teaching degree at elementary, junior high or high schools, a Bachelor of Arts or Master of Arts degree. As a student, you will be guided to sharpen your thinking and judgment skills, to develop a differentiated awareness of problems, and to represent independent and argumentatively justified points of view. Through the education you acquire as a student:in the ability to meet the later diverse requirements in professional life and to meet them with a high degree of independence and responsibility.
The diverse research areas and publications show a systematic-theological, religious-pedagogical as well as diversity-sensitive perspective in socially current topics and issues.
